Ballast Point Terrace

Set in a quiet leafy street in Birchgrove, Ballast point residence is a four bedroom terrace house belonging to a young family. The brief was to give the house a new life as it was completely stripped back to its bones and re-imagined. The heart of the home is the central internal courtyard that allows an abundance of natural light into the ground floor kitchen and living areas.

The project presented an opportunity for a study in materials and enhancement of the exterior landscape. We curated a palette of steel, mirror, pale sage and white washed timber which is seen throughout the bespoke joinery. The end result is a naturally soft and calming interior that features a diverse selection of materials, playful details and soft muted colour palette that blends seamlessly with its surroundings.
