Virginia Residence

A charming house in Kensington underwent a large re-design & renovation. The newly designed grand raked ceilings & extension to the rear living & kitchen areas increased the overall footprint of the single level home, sitting on a generous block. Parker Studio’s brief was to create thoughtful and timeless spaces for family living. A classic colour palette featuring rendered wall finishes and rich natural stones gives a laid back yet sophisticated appeal to the home.

Hints of aged bronze & black fittings add a subtle masculinity, as does the monolithic kitchen island bench, carefully constructed from Acoya Pearl quartzite. The kitchen is a social hub for the family, and created an opportunity for a striking communal island to gather.
